OphiBeauty started from a simple desire: to make skincare less confusing. For years I struggled with persistent acne and stubborn hyperpigmentation. I was constantly researching ingredients and routines because I genuinely cared about understanding what works, not just for myself, but for others who shared similar concerns and frustrations.

As for the origin of the name, it may seem a little unconventional, but to me it feels incredibly fitting. “Ophi” is short for Ophelia, the name of one of my rescue cats who was born with anophthalmia, the absence of eyeballs, and no eyelids. Despite this, she inspires me every single day. Not just because of her beauty, but because of her bravery, wit, and absolute determination to take down her older, larger sibling, Benjamin.
There is something deeply inspiring about a cat without vision who still finds beauty in the world around her. That spirit is what Ophi Beauty is built on.

Our mission is to make skincare easier to understand so that people feel informed instead of frustrated when it comes to caring for their skin. I especially hope to build a community for those with melanin-rich skin.
